New Canaan Mounted Troop’s facility, built in 2009 is a state-of-the-art, ADA compliant facility with handicap access that features:
- 140′ x 200′ outdoor ring
- 72′ x 160′ indoor ring
- 30 stalls (10′ x 10′ and 10′ x 12′)
- Several all-weather turnout paddocks and grass paddocks
- Heated wash stalls
- Tack room
- Locker room
- Feed room
- Offices
- Spacious temperature-controlled Learning Center for our students
Our facility also boasts a geothermal heat pump, which uses natural heat from the earth and groundwater to heat and cool the stable as part of an eco-friendly initiative.
