Amanda Boyer

Born in San Diego, CA., Amanda Boyer grew up at the barn where her mother owned a riding school. Amanda competed in the Big Eq, Junior Hunter and Junior Jumper divisions and spent that time “catch riding” for Susan Hutchison and other well known local trainers.
Amanda graduated high school at age 16 so she could spend more time showing her last 2 junior years before turning professional. She earned credits by taking classes at a local junior college as well as ‘0’ period classes (class before school started in the morning) to complete high school early.
Amanda has been a professional, both teaching and riding, for the past 20 years. She moved to Connecticut in 2012.
